Two guys enjoying their sauna rental.

Our all Canadian and locally made barrel cedar sauna will be delivered to your doorstep on a secured trailer

Upon delivery, we will place the sauna where you would like it (on levelled/solid ground) and set up the jack stands that provide extra stabilization. Please note that Georgian Bay Sauna Rentals’ member delivering the sauna has the right to refuse rental if there is no safe place to place the sauna.

Stairs will be provided to enter and exit the sauna.  Always use caution while entering and exiting the sauna!

For your fire needs during your sauna rental, our team will provide and deliver to you a mix of soft and hardwoods as well as some fire starters.  The wood and fire starters are included in the sauna rental fee.

To have the best sauna experience…

Before entering the sauna, we recommend you take a warm shower with mild soap to remove any lotion, dirt and oil from your skin. This will not only help with your complexion, as your pores will not get clogged while using the sauna, but will also keep the cleanest sauna environment.

Clean swim attire should be worn.

Use a clean towel to sit on. This will help keep you clean as well as to protect the benches from body oils and sweat.

Keep an eye on your bathing time. You do not need to be a sauna hero. We advise that you listen to your body as prolonged use of the sauna is not recommended due to fatiguing effects.  While the Finnish Sauna Society recommends a temperature of 80 to 100 Celsius, we have heard that 60 to 70 Celsius is the sweet spot. But of course, it’s a matter of your preference.

Drink plenty of water before, during and after sauna use. We suggest that you start with 2 glasses before entering the sauna and keep a water bottle with you during your sauna session.
